went on a spirited drive with some great friends, which culminated at a beautiful vista in the Issaquah highlands above Issaquah, WA. Great people, great cars, great roads, great times.
also, shoutout to my homie, for taking the pics. check him out at pikerphoto on instagram!

What route did you take?

we went from redmond ridge, down novelty hill road out towards duval on 203, turned around, drove 203 back to carnation, then went off 203 down ames lake road, took some unnamed backroads up to issaquah from there.

Awesome! At first glance I thought this was some kind of weird Motor Trend comparison or something.

hahah yep, could very well be! “how does a new BR-Z stack up to used competition from the past 15 years?”

Ahh, okay. Decent roads, for sure. I am very familiar with that area because my grilfriend’s family lives just outside Duvall to the east and we actually take Novelty Hill Road to get from where she lives in Bellevue to go see her parents.
That downhill on Novelty Hill Rd into Snoqualmie River Valley is /rough/...

yep! that’s where i live, about 10 minutes down the hill and up avondale towards woodinville!
And it is rough... my car hates it, and your brakes are searing if you’re spirited
